sim Maqbool (41) admitted he printed the Adidas and Ugg brand labels off after gardaí seized more than €8,000 worth of bogus footwear in a raid.
He was spared jail when Judge Gerard Jones gave him a one-month suspended sentence.
Maqbool, a father-of-two from Ballyowen Hall, Lucan, pleaded guilty to possession of clothing and labels bearing marks that were identical or resembled trademarks.

He had no previous convictions.
Maqbool told the court he needed cash flow to pay his bills, survival was difficult for him and he “made a mistake”.
He said he was now working part-time as a taxi driver.
