The excitement of Euro 2020 has been high since the announcement that the competition will be going ahead this summer.
It was delayed until June 11th, 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The virus wreaked havoc on the world, causing several huge sporting events to be postponed or cancelled.
There will be 51 games at the tournament, with England hopefully playing seven of them and reaching this year’s final.
Gareth Southgate has selected a strong 26-man squad, with the 50-year-old opting to include three right-backs. This raised eyebrows due to him initially naming four, however, due to Trent Alexander-Arnold suffering a thigh injury in the Three Lions’ warm-up game against Austria, the Liverpool defender was forced to withdraw and was replaced by Brighton’s Ben White.
The Midlands’ clubs have also been represented well in the England squad, with Southgate selecting West Brom’s Sam Johnstone, Wolves’ Conor Coady and Aston Villa’s Tyrone Mings and Jack Grealish in his list of 26.

Donning your nation’s shirt is one thing, but doing it in style is another, and no were not just talking about goals, assists and silky skills, were talking about what the Three Lions’ players have on their feet when doing it.
With that being said, what boots will England’s stars be wearing at Euro 2020?
Goalkeepers:
Jordan Pickford
The Three Lions number one will be wearing a pair of Puma Ultra at this summer’s competition. Jordan Pickford will be one of only three England players donning the boots.
Dean Henderson
The 24-year-old had a decent showing for Manchester United last season, earning him a deserved place in Southgate’s squad. Dean Henderson will be wearing a pair of Nike Phantom GT’s during the tournament.
Sam Johnstone
He might have been relegated from the Premier League with West Brom, but Sam Johnstone has shown why he is one of the countrys top shot-stoppers. The 28-year-old will be donning Adidas Nemeziz this summer.
Defenders
Kyle Walker
The oldest member of Southgate’s squad, but not lacking in quality by any means. Like Pickford, Kyle Walker will be taking to the pitch in a pair of Puma Ultra’s at Euro 2020.
Luke Shaw
What a season this man had for Manchester United last season. Luke Shaw rightfully earned himself a place in England’s list of 26. The left-back will be wearing a pair of Adidas Nemeziz during the competition.
John Stones
Manchester City and Three Lions’ centre-back John Stones when fit is arguably the county’s best in that position. Lets hope its the pair of Nike Phantom GT’s he’ll be donning that keep him injury-free and solid at the back.
Harry Maguire
The Manchester United captain might not be fit for England’s opener against Croatia on Sunday, but that means one thing… his lovely Puma Ultra’s will be ready for when he’s called upon.
Kieran Trippier
The second of three right-backs selected by Southgate. Kieran Trippier, a La Liga winner with Atletico Madrid, will be wearing a pair of Adidas Nemeziz during the tournament.
Tyrone Mings
A natural left-footer and solid addition to the 26-men representing England at the Euros this summer. Tyrone Mings will be hoping he and his Nike Phantom GT’s can show why he was picked by Southgate.
Conor Coady
A natural leader and someone who adds something a little different to the Three Lions defence, Conor Coady, Wolves’ captain, will be taking to the pitch in Adidas Predator Freak.1’s.
Ben Chilwell
The Champions League winner and England number 21. Ben Chilwell will be hoping that Southgate selects him to tear down the left-side of the pitch in a pair of Nike Mercurial Vapors.
Ben White
The other Ben in the squad won’t be matching Chilwell in Nike footwear, no, Ben White will be donning the same boots as Trippier and Shaw, the Adidas Nemeziz.
Reece James
The third right-back selected by Southgate, Reece James, another Champions League winner, will be wearing Nike Mercurial Vapors at the Euros this summer.
Midfielders:
Declan Rice
West Ham’s only player to be in the 26-man squad, holding-midfielder, Declan Rice is hoping he can make an impact in the role while donning a pair of Adidas Copa’s at the competition.
Jordan Henderson
Despite not playing much football since February due to injury, Southgate opted to take Three Lions’ vice-captain Jordan Henderson to the tournament. The Liverpool captain will be the only player in the England camp to wear Nike Tiempo’s this summer.
Kalvin Phillips
Another member of the squad to be the only one to represent their club for the Three Lions, Leeds United’s Kalvin Phillips will be donning Adidas Predators at the Euros.
Mason Mount
One of the squad’s most versatile players, Mason Mount will take to the pitch in a pair of Nike Phantom GT’s, whether that be in centre-midfield, in the number 10 role, or on the wing.
Jude Bellingham
The youngest member of England’s squad and a very talented 17-year-old. Jude Bellingham is one of two Three Lions’ players to be wearing Adidas Copa’s at the tournament.
Forwards:
Jack Grealish
Aston Villa’s star man and potentially England’s too this summer. Jack Grealish will be donning Nike Phantom GT’s at the Euros.
Harry Kane
The Three Lions’ captain and first-choice striker for this year’s competition. Harry Kane will take to the pitch in pursuit of the Golden Boot in a pair of Nike Phantom GT’s.
Raheem Sterling
A Premier League winner and England’s number 10 this summer. Raheem Sterling will be one of two forwards to be wearing New Balance Furon’s at the tournament.
Marcus Rashford
Hitting the back of the net is something Marcus Rashford likes doing. Whether he’s playing on the left-wing or up top, the 23-year-old will be donning Nike Mercurial Vapor’s while doing so.
Jadon Sancho
Borussia Dortmund’s second player in the squad and a fantastic talent. Jadon Sancho will be hoping he gets to show off his pace and skill in a pair of Nike Mercurial Vapor’s at the Euros this summer.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin
Everton forward Dominic Calvert-Lewin netted 16 goals in the Premier League last season, earning him a place in Southgate’s 26-man squad. The 24-year-old will be the only Three Lions’ player to wear Adidas X boots at the competition.
Phil Foden
Voted the PFA Young Player of the Year, and one of Manchester City’s best players last season. Phil Foden could be England’s star man at the tournament. To do this though, the 21-year-old will be hoping he and his Nike Phantom GT’s have a good showing this summer.
Bukayo Saka
Arsenal’s only player to represent the Three Lions at the Euros. Bukayo Saka, who netted his first goal for his country against Austria on June 2nd, will be hoping to add to this in a pair of New Balance Furon’s at the tournament.
